I just have installed AlphaUserPoints 1.8 to the site. I want to use credit delivery system for the customers who refer certain number of other customers.

My question is:
Can this AlphaUserPoints version used with ANY SHOPPING CART? or just virtuemart?
How to use with the shopping cart?

Hi my friends

I have AlpaUserPoints version 1.8.3 and am using it for gift exchange. New users are supposed to get 500 points but get 0.

If I press recalculate all my users get 500 Points. Do you have any thing I should try to fix this.

My Joomla version is 2.5.8 and I am using Jomsocial but i only need the points for my giftshop.

I'm looking for an option where site members can refer people or companies to other members and gain points/karma for referrals that are followed and /or made use of.

Does such a thing exist?

So, for example, I am a member of a group and refer company A to the group. I get points for every member who checks out my link and further points for anyone who follows up and contacts my link.

I need it to work with JomSocial too.

hi i have a little problem
i have joomla 2.5 + jdownload 1.9 + aup 1.8
i installed jdownload rules and put price -1 point for every download

so now my account has 1 pount, i got to download folder there are 2 files, File1 and File2.

when i download File1, it downloads the file and takes me 1 point, so now i have 0 points, But HERE the problem i can stil download this file even if i click 20 times download starts.
Now if i go and click File2 in says sorry you have no points... (thats ok) and now return to File1 it says the same (thats how it must do)

so Why when i download the File1 for first time it tok my point bom didnt worne me when i clicked it again and had 0 points.

we want to use your great Alpha Point Component. But we wont to remove the "Powered by AlphaUserPoints © 2008-2013".

Can we just do it? Or we violate against your license?

Hello,

It seems like AUP registration process works by setting a cookie and in order to place the new member with the right referral it seems working correctly only when new member comes from a unique I.P. address. Meaning every member has to register and it also seems they need to login thereafter from that same and unique I.P. address in order for everything to work correctly making it a HUGE disadvantige for my website.
Therefore my question is: how can I have it working with cookie etc, but NOT in need of a unique I.P. address?

Hi,
I have AUP in Joomla 2.5.7. Version of AUP is 1.8.3. I have a problem with loading points.

My problem is with daily max. points limit. I have configured 50 points a day, but we started AUP in thursday, it's 4 days today, and one user have 1000 points, but she may be have max 200 points.

Why daily max limit doesn't work at all?

Hi. I noticed this accidentally. When I click the Avatar upload button and leave the image box empty I get this fatal error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function JText() in /home/..../public_html/glitterzap.com/main/components/com_media/helpers/media.php on line 56

The upload itself works correctly. The error only happens, when the upload box is empty.

This is the error i get after entering a test coupon code:

Fatal error: Call to a member function enqueueMessage() on a non-object in /home/gotrus1/public_html/modules/mod_alphauserpoints_couponcode/helper.php on line 88

The button itself says MODAUP_CP_LABEL_BUTTON.

What might be the problem? I looked for an answers but found nothing. I use joomla 2.5.

Dear Team,

we are going to install a brand new Joomla 2.5.11 site shortly using of course Alphauserpoints as well.!

In this particular case we do have to move CB Users + Alphauserpoints from our old Joomla 2.5.11 site (old domain) over to the new site (new domain name as well).

Backing up the old site completely and restoring to the new site and then changing/removing stuff is not an option due to some errors in the old installation resulting from the 1.5 to 2.5 migration.
We are only interested in the users and alphauserpoints that needs to be moved.

My question: what is the easiest way to achieve this?
Is a MySQL dump and restore of all alphauserpoints tables sufficient plus the Joomla Users table?

I have been wondering if there is any component or extension available for users to send points to each other? Like I am low on points, but you have a lot and want to give me some. Is this possible? I see talk on the net about a com_user2userpoints or something, but I can not seem to find it to buy.
